Yogyakarta, October 22, 2024 – The Medical Record Family (MRF) of the Applied Bachelor of Health Information Management program at the Vocational School of Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM) organized the International Guest Lecture on Health Information Management (IG-HIM) 2024. The theme for this year’s event was “The Future of HIM Professionals in the Digital Era,” with a sub-theme focusing on “HIM Professionals Competencies Update in the Digital Era.” The event took place online on Sunday, October 20, 2024, and aimed to contribute to the medical record field, particularly within educational and professional institutions related to medical records.
The IG-HIM 2024 event provided a platform for participants to interact with experts in the field, enhancing their knowledge and expanding their professional networks. Attendees included lecturers from the Health Information Management Study Program, administrative staff, and students from the 2021–2024 cohorts, alongside speakers and participants from various backgrounds.
The event featured a moderator and a distinguished speaker. Annisa Maulida Ningtyas, S.Kom., M.Eng., a lecturer at UGM, moderated the session, while Cassandra (Cassie) Rupnik, HIM, CHIA from Australia, delivered a presentation on “HIM Professional Competencies Update in the Digital Health Era.” Her insights were particularly valuable in understanding the evolving landscape of health information management.
Khodijah Aulia served as the organizing chair for IG-HIM 2024, with Nida Zulfa Firdausi acting as the Master of Ceremony (MC). Their leadership, along with the collaboration of the organizing committee, ensured the event ran smoothly. The enthusiastic participation from all attendees added significant educational value, creating an interactive and inspiring atmosphere.
